Ministries & Activities

All children are welcome during worship. Sunday school is available each week: preschool and kindergarten attend with a parent, and grades 1–12 attend during part of the service. We believe every child is a gift from God.

Adult Bible study meets every Sunday at 9:00 AM before the worship service. Everyone is welcome — no prior knowledge required, just an open heart and a willingness to learn.

Life brings both joys and hardships. Our pastor offers prayer, visitation, and support for members during illness, loss, and difficult seasons. No one walks alone at Lake Villa UMC.

We are called to love our neighbors — both locally and globally. Our mission team organizes local food drives, partnerships with community organizations, and participation in United Methodist Global Missions.

Music is a cornerstone of United Methodist worship. We welcome singers and musicians of all abilities to participate in our choir and special music opportunities throughout the year.

From coffee hour after Sunday worship to potluck dinners and holiday gatherings, we believe breaking bread together strengthens our bonds as a community. Food and fellowship are always at the heart of what we do.

Our church's women's group enjoys fellowship time and does fundraising for church projects. All women of the congregation are welcome to join.
